A story about giant swamp rats invading coastal towns sounds more like the plot of a sci-fi movie than a documentary. But RODENTS OF UNUSUAL SIZE is a true tale, one known well by the millions who reside in southern Louisiana. The rodents, who sport webbed feet and large orange teeth, are known as nutria. Introduced to the area during the Depression, importers believed their fur could be a source of income. Turns out, they were wrong.
