Sidewalk Film Festival is produced by the Alabama Moving Image Association, a federally recognized 501c3 non-profit organization with a mission to inspire, encourage and support filmgoers, the city of Birmingham and the filmmaking community. In addition to hosting the annual film festival, we host monthly networking and educational events, a monthly documentary series, short film and screenwriting competitions, manage a youth board and a variety of other year-round programs.

Tickets sales to our events cover approximately 1/3 of our annual operating cash budget, so we depend on corporate sponsors, grant-making organizations and individuals like you to survive. if you’d like to know more about supporting Sidewalk, please contact us at sidewalk@sidewalkfest.com.

Revelator is a coffee roaster and café operator with our roots in metro markets across the Southeast. While specialty coffee is the origin of our brand, we approach coffee from a broader culinary perspective. We empower regional leadership and F&B talent to create memorable café experiences, genuinely inspired by the people and places in their community.

We started in 2014, opening our first location in Downtown Birmingham’s historic theater district in the fall. Founders Josh Owen, Emma Chevalier, and Elizabeth Pogue met in New Orleans and, for the first few months of operation, the company roasted with friends in the Crescent City. By the time summer 2015 rolled around, Revelator opened a 15,000 sq ft roasting facility in Birmingham and started developing cafes in Atlanta, where we are now headquartered.

Our team is comprised of roasters, production workers, operations and supply chain managers, wholesalers, accountants, marketers, and designers. Seen or unseen, we're all working to ensure that our customers have the best experience possible in our cafés.
